Hijacked

Our lives are constantly engaged in spiritual warfare. The enemy seeks to hijack our thoughts and derail our faith. But God has not left us defenseless. Paul's word in Ephesians 6: 10-18 remind us of the spiritual armor available to us. Today, reflect on each piece of this armor. How can you "put on" the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit in your daily life? what specific verses can you memorize to combat negative thoughts or temptations? Make a commitment to spend more time in scripture, not just reading, but meditating on its truths. Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God's power is far greater than any scheme of the enemy!
